Idaho is home to just one building designed by world-renowned\narchite ct Frank Lloyd Wright: Teater’s Knoll\, located on the edge of the\nSnak e River. Teater’s Knoll also happens to be the only artist studio\nWrigh t designed that was actually built. This exhibition considers\nTeater’s Knoll within the larger context of Wright’s architectural\npractice and philosophy. It features architectural plans and photographs as\nwell as a selection of paintings by the artist for whom Teater’s Knoll\nwas design ed\, Archie Teater (1901–1978). An Idaho native\, Teater was a\nprolific painter whose impressionistic landscape images and history\npaintings doc umented his experience of Idaho and the American West.
