Portland Cello\nProjec t is coming back to Hailey to perform their “Infinite Variety”\nconcer t in a special performance just for Center Members!
From\nclassical to Jazz\, pop to metal\, transcendent to raucous\, the group will be\npre senting what has become their signature\, genre-bending style of\nperforma nce. Expect everything from Bach to Coltrane to Radiohead\,\nincluding gue st collaborations with a diverse assortment of songwriters and\ninstrument alists.
Special guests on this tour include\nformer-Montanan Maiah Wynne (maiahwynne.com)\, a\nsongwriter/multi-instrumentalist whose credits include the track used for\nthe closing credits for the film The Ballad o f Lefty Brown\, and who just\nwon second place in the Seattle Museum of Po p Culture’s Sound Off\nCompetition.
Also touring with PCP this ti me around is trumpeter\nFarnell Newton (farnellnewton.com)\, a staple of t he Portland jazz and funk\nscene\, whose performance and recording credits include work with Bootsy\nCollins and Liv Warfield.
