SECOND\nSC REENING ADDED! Due to popular demand a second screening of Carole\nKin g Tapestry: Live at Hyde Park\, will be held on the big screen at\nth e Sun Valley Pavilion on Wed\, Jul 8\, at 7:30pm.

The film \ncelebrates the 45th anniversary of Carole King's masterpiece album\,\nTa pestry\, by documenting the spectacular 2016 concert for more than 65\,000 \nfans in Hyde Park\, London\, England. That show was the first-ever\nperf ormance of the entire Tapestry album in sequence was Carole’s first\ncon cert in England since 1989 and features Carole leading a full band\n(inclu ding rhythm guitarist Danny Kortchmar\, who played on the original\nTapest ry album) through each of the album's 12 songs\, plus her favorite\ncompos itions from her astonishing songbook.

Guest performers include\nher daughter\, Louise Goffin\, who joins her mother on several tracks\ninclud ing Where You Lead\, plus the Laurence Olivier Award-winning West End\ncas t of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

Picnics\, lowbacked\nchair s and blankets will be allowed\, but reservations must be made in\nadvance . The gates will open at 6:30pm to allow ample time for everyone to\nget i n\, find their spot\, and enjoy the evening.

    < strong>Sun\nValley Museum of Art is thrilled to present\, Carole King Tape stry: Live at\nHyde Park\, on the big screen at the Sun Valley Pavilion on Thu\, Jul 9\, 2020\nat 7:30pm.

    The film celebrates the 45 th anniversary of\nCarole King's masterpiece album\, Tapestry\, by documen ting the spectacular\n2016 concert for more than 65\,000 fans in Hyde Park \, London\, England. That\nshow was the first-ever performance of the enti re Tapestry album in\nsequence was Carole’s first concert in England sin ce 1989 and features\nCarole leading a full band (including rhythm guitari st Danny Kortchmar\, who\nplayed on the original Tapestry album) through e ach of the album's 12\nsongs\, plus her favorite compositions from her ast onishing songbook.

    Guest performers include her daughter\, Louise Goffin\, who joins her\nmother on several tracks including Where You Lead\ , plus the Laurence\nOlivier Award-winning West End cast of Beautiful: The Carole King\nMusical.

    Picnics\, lowbacked chairs and blankets will be allowed\, but\nreservations must be made in advance. The gates will op en at 6:30pm to\nallow ample time for everyone to get in\, find their spot \, and enjoy the\nevening.

Students will be provided with clear instruction and \nhandouts. This is a great class if you are new to bookmaking!

    Artist and printmaker Ma rne Elmore grew up in the Wood\nRiver Valley\, and currently lives and wor ks in Boise\, where she enjoys\nbiking\, reading\, cooking\, and of course \, making art. She enjoys the wide\nspectrum of variability and repeatabil ity that printmaking can bring to an\nart practice\, and she focuses on re lief printmaking\, painting\, and\ndrawing.
