In this\nbeginner- friendly introduction to metalsmithing led by artist Alyse-Ambriel\nHanna\ , learn how to incorporate texture into jewelry design. Participants\nwill design and create a wearable metal pendant using found objects\,\nstamps\ , and texture hammers to transfer patterns into the metal.
\nAge &\; ability: 16+\; all levels\; beginners\nwelcome!

A variety of individuals and\nloca l non-profits will build altars or ofrendas to commemorate loved ones\nlos t and to celebrate their lives and contributions. The community is\ninvite d to visit the altars\, listen to music from Mariachi Tleyotltzin\,\nwatch the Museum’s folkloric youth dance group perform\, and enjoy\ntradition al Mexican hot chocolate and pan de muerto.
