Originally created for CNN, UFOs: Investigating the Unknown is a five-part series exploring the government’s decades-long investigation into UFOs. Directed by Ricki Stern and featuring investigative journalist Leslie Kean (speaking in Ketchum on October 26 as part of SVMoA’s Sightings exhibition), the series features extensive footage and interviews with journalists, academics, astronomers, military officers, senators, and more.
The second of two nights of screening UFOs: Investigating the Unknown will feature Episodes 3-5:
- Episode 3: Close Encounters at Nuclear Bases
- Episode 4: Citizens Take Charge
- Episode 5: Government Breaks Silence
Run time: 126 minutes (Episodes are 42 minutes each)
At the beginning of the evening on Oct 12, we will screen the short film Lost in Light II. Directed by Sriram Murali, this second film of the two-part series demonstrates, with new views, how light pollution affects what we can see in the night sky.
This film screening takes place at the Magic Lantern Cinemas, Ketchum at 7pm.
