In partnership with Christie’s auction house, SVMoA invites art enthusiasts to enjoy a lively conversation about the state of the artworld in this moment. Moderated by Sarah Wendell Sherrill, panelists Rodman Primack, Susan Swig, and Christie’s Kathryn Lasater will discuss the ways that artists, collectors, auction houses, galleries, designers, and museums intersect and work together within the larger arts ecosystem.
Sarah Wendell Sherrill is an entrepreneur, art industry leader and member of The Noguchi Museum board of trustees and the FOG Design + Art Fair steering committee. Rodman Primack, former Chairman, London Phillips auction house and former Executive Director, Design Miami, is the founder of AGO Interiors and co-founder of AGO Projects, a Mexico City-based design gallery. Susan Swig, a San Francisco-based arts leader and collector, is a long time trustee of SFMOMA, a founding board member of ICA SF, and a steering committee member of the FOG Design+Art Fair, where she curates the fair’s public programming. Kathryn Lasater is the Managing Director for Christie’s San Francisco and the West Coast.
This event takes place from 11am-noon and is free and open to the public.
