Pochoir Monotype is a stencil-based printmaking process for creating one of a kind layered prints. In this fun, collaborative workshop flip, layer, ink and re-ink a variety of precut and student designed stencils to spontaneously create a series of colorful, contemporary prints on the press. Come with an idea for creating a card stock stencil of something you can’t live without!

About the Instructor
Amy Nack’s love affair with paper began with a career in marketing for a national paper and packaging manufacturer. At 55, she returned to school to receive a BFA in Printmaking and Art History at Boise State University.
Amy serves as a teaching artist with Idaho Commission on the Arts, Boise Art Museum, Idaho Parents Unlimited, Idaho Juvenile Corrections and Speedball Arts. She is the founder of Wingtip Press, a community printmaking studio in Boise, Idaho and serves as an adjunct instructor in the Printmaking and Art Education programs of Boise State’s Department of Art, Design and Visual Studies.
