Join printmaker Christie Tirado for a family-friendly bilingual printmaking workshop and help SVMoA prepare for our October celebration of Día de los Muertos. Participants will make prints of images related to Day of the Dead — skulls, butterflies, flowers, and more. Each participant will make at least two impressions of their print—one to take with them, one for inclusion in the altar SVMoA will create for this year’s Día de los Muertos celebration. Tirado will lead the workshop in Spanish and English, guiding participants of all ages as they work with Styrofoam plates to make their prints.
Workshop is for all ages & abilities; families welcome!
Workshop is offered in two FREE sessions on Fri, Aug 11:
-
SESSION 1: 10–11:30am
-
SESSION 2: 3:30–5pm
