Participants of this workshop will lea rn to how to\neffectively control the Quality of Light\, Direction of Ligh t\, and Color\nLight from their small strobes. You’ll learn how to use s oft boxes\,\numbrellas\, grids\, snoot’s\, reflectors\, color gels and b ounce techniques.\nYou’ll learn how to select which techniques are best suited to a\nparticular subject and scene. David will also discuss grip eq uipment for\nproper rigging\, packing and preparing for location assignmen ts.
The\nmornings will be devoted to lectures\, demonstrations and critiques\; the\nremainder of the day will be spent practicing lighting te chniques on campus\nand on location in and around Sun Valley. By weeks end \, participants will\nhave gained confidence in their lighting skills and a strong foundation for\ndeveloping their own lighting techniques and styl e.
