FREE FAMILY DAY: This Land Is Whose Land?

Saturday, March 3, 2018 - 3:00 PM

The U.S. is a country composed largely of immigrants, all arriving in search of new opportunities. This BIG IDEA project is prompted by current conversation about refugees in the U.S., it explores the topic within the larger framework of country’s history as a place of resettlement. With our family day event we will focus on topics of immigration, empathy, and adapting to change or new situations. Our project will give participants the opportunity to spread positive messages in our community.

Family Day events provide special opportunities for multiple generations to explore art and ideas together, building confidence in self-expression through art making. Get inspired by the themes and art of the visual arts exhibition, This Land is Whose Land?

FAMILY DAY takes place from 3-5pm at The Center, Ketchum.

Part of The Center's BIG IDEA project This Land Is Whose Land?, January 26-March 31, 2018.
