Overview
Sponsorship is essential in helping SVMoA fulfill its mission to enrich our community through transformative art experiences. Whether you are a corporation or an individual, your support allows us to bring high-quality programming to all in the Wood River Valley.
MAXIMIZE YOUR VISIBILITY
Elevate your company's community engagement: Team up with the Sun Valley Museum of Art and access a passionate and engaged audience.
By supporting our mission, your company not only enhances the cultural fabric of our community but also showcases a strong commitment to the local environment where your employees reside and work.
As a sponsor, you have access to many benefits, all designed to amplify your company's visibility and foster connections.
Exhibitions
Exhibitions in the museum rotate approximately 4-5 times a year. Designed to stimulate the imagination, promote conversations, provoke thought, and engage our community, these original exhibitions often include associated events to explore the idea through different lenses such as Exhibition Tours, Artists Talks & Lectures, Workshops & Classes, Film Screenings and special events.
Visiting Artists & Residencies
A fundamental part of SVMoA's mission is to work in partnership with local schools to inspire students’ curiosity and develop their skills in improvisation, self-expression, and critical thinking. Visiting artists impact thousands of students annually through classroom visits, workshops, presentations, classes, and performances.
Music & Performance
Sun Valley Museum of Art has produced sell-out concerts for years. Past summer concerts have featured artists such as Emmylou Harris, Wilco, Lake Street Dive, Pink Martini and Brandi Carlile. These summer outdoor concerts are some of Sun Valley’s most popular seasonal attractions. Attendance is between 1,500–5,000 people per concert, including locals, seasonal residents and visitors.
Learning & Engagement
The Museum invests approximately $1,000,000 in educational programs annually through Arts Integration Programs implemented with the Blaine County schools, Student Exhibition Tours, which include hands-on art-making experiences, Scholarships for local high school students and educators to pursue advanced study in the arts, Family & Youth Programs, and Teen Workshops.
Lectures, Talks & Panel Discussions
We bring prominent speakers to the Wood River Valley to engage the community in lively, informative discussions about topics of current interest. Speakers have included Arianna Huffington, P.W. Singer, Gloria Steinem, Daniel Handler, E.O. Wilson, and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Attendance is usually between 60–400 people per lecture and thousands cumulatively throughout a season.
