Sport a new self-designed skateboard deck next time you head to the skate park! Come with your ideas and get inspired exploring some creative renditions by well-known contemporary artists. In this workshop you’ll design and paint your very own skateboard deck, which is yours to keep at the end of the project.
All supplies, including the skateboard deck, will be provided by the workshop.
This workshop takes place Fri, Apr 22, from 10am–3pm at the Hailey Classroom.
About the Instructor
Bob Dix earned a BA at San Francisco State University and an MFA at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. He has exhibited his work widely in California, Nevada and Idaho at institutions including the Headlands Center for the Arts, San Francisco Artspace, the San Francisco Art Institute, the Richmond Art Center, the San Jose Museum of Art and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
