Join us for a fun morning workshop of sketching plants and flowers in the beautiful Sawtooth Botanical Garden. For the first hour, students will learn anatomy of flowers and plants as well as basic drawing skills before heading outside to explore plants and their intricacies. The last two hours will be dedicated to drawing directly from nature. Participants need to bring colored pencils and/or watercolors and a 4” x 6” or 5”x 7” watercolor or sketch notebook.
Age and ability: 16 years and older, beginners welcome!
This workshop takes place Sun, July 24, from 8:30am–12:30pm.
About the Instructor
Nature and wildlife are at the center of Poo Wright-Pulliam’s life and award-winning art. Her mediums are pencil, ink and watercolor. Wright-Pulliam has been Artist-in-Residence at Craters of the Moon National Monument and City of the Rocks National Reserve. In 2021, she was Artist-in-Residence for the Wood River Land Trust.
