Originally created for CNN, UFOs: Investigating the Unknown is a five-part series exploring the government’s decades-long investigation into UFOs. Directed by Ricki Stern and featuring investigative journalist Leslie Kean (speaking in Ketchum on October 26 as part of SVMoA’s Sightings exhibition), the series features extensive footage and interviews with journalists, academics, astronomers, military officers, senators, and more.
The first night's screening of UFOs: Investigating the Unknown will feature Episodes 1 & 2:
- Episode 1: Secret Pentagon UFO Program
- Episode 2: Giant UFO in Texas
Run time: 84 minutes (Episodes are 42 minutes each)
At the beginning of the evening on Oct 5, we will screen the short film Lost in Light. Directed by Sriram Murali, this first film of a two-part series demonstrates how light pollution affects what we can see in the night sky.
This film screening takes place at the Magic Lantern Cinemas, Ketchum at 4:30pm.
