In this introductory bookbinding course students
will learn the basic steps necessary to build, design, and construct their own hardcover book. Students will
learn the technique of Coptic bookbinding, a non-toxic and adhesive free process which dates back to the
2nd Century AD in Egypt and can be used to create personalized sketchbooks, journals, or book arts.
